Ones to Watch

OTW (ones to watch) you have to keep an eye on these players because given the chance they will be scoring plenty of points.

Now this list is based off of players that need a shot at their starting position to be able to put up the fantasy points. They will either have to outperform or get called up due to injury/trade. Ill stay away from the clear and obvious and dive a little deeper.

Quarterbacks

  1. Tua Tagovailoa (MIA)

  2. Justin Herbert (LAC)

  3. Nick Foles (CHI)

Running Backs

  1. Ke'Shawn Vaughn (TB)

  2. Antonio Gibson (WAS)

  3. A.J. Dillon (GB)

  4. Damien Harris (NE)

Wide Receivers

  1. Mecole Hardman (KC)

  2. N'Keal Harry (NE)

  3. Josh Reynolds (LAR)

  4. Auden Tate (CIN)

Tight Ends

  1. Irv Smith Jr (MIN)

  2. Trey Burton (IND)

  3. Jason Witten (LV)

  4. Jordan Reed (SF)

Its a bit of a mix with rookies, year 2s, and veterans. Let's break it down.

Tua Tagovailoa is a duel threat QB and can make it a nightmare for opposing defenses to stop. He is the QB of the future for the Dolphins the question is when exactly will that be?

Justin Herbert if you have seen any of his college tape or HBO's Hard Knocks you will know why he's on my list. Tall, accurate, and a smart QB with a beautiful spiral. The players can definitely tell by the delivery that he is special.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn it's said that Ronald Jones is to have the starting role. LeSean McCoy and

Dare Ogunbowale are also there. If Vaughn can show what he has or gets called up he will be playing with the GOAT.

Antonio Gibson another crazy RB situation in WAS. He will be learning from Adrian Peterson as well as competing against him and Bryce Love. Given the shot he should do well.

A.J. Dillion have you actually seen him? He is GB Saquan Barkley with those legs. If something were to happen to Aaron Jones, Dillon will get the goal line work. The same as they used to do with Eddie Lacy.

Damien Harris Sony Michel just got back to practice after having surgery and James White has a specific role. Rex Burkhead would be his only competition and if he beats them all out with a good showing NE loves to feed their starting back.

Mecole Hardman has to fend off Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson to get his shot really. When given the opportunity as a rookie last year he did well but he will have to show more. He also has a guy named Patrick Mahomes throwing him the ball, heard of him?

N'Keal Harry Patriots spent a first rounder on him so you know they want to use him. Edelman and Sanu have the jobs but Cam Newton, if the QB, loves throwing to big WRs and isn't afraid of taking shots.

Josh Reynolds when called upon last year did well. With the departure of Cooks he should get more shots. Rams like to use more TEs on the field which is why Josh is on this list.

Auden Tate is going to be on a better offense this year. The problem is he has to battle with AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins and John Ross. But when he was on the field last year he looked awesome, and we are seeing good reports out of camp.

Irv Smith Jr has the skills to beat out Rudolph. Its just a matter of when and how they use him. Vikings know what they have and started to use him last year he just needs a better shot.

Trey Burton you remember him right? He just has to beat out Jack Doyle who can't stay healthy and should run with the job. Rivers loves his TEs.

Jason Witten yes he still plays football. Yes he's behind Darren Waller. But the guy knows his position well and knows when and where to be. All he does is move the chains.

Jordan Reed can we please just have a full healthy season for him? The only reason he is so far down lists is because he is injury prone....Oh and the fact that he has to play behind the peoples TE George Kittle. We all know what Reed can do when on the field he just needs to actually be on the field.

There you have it. Keep an eye on them, most aren't even being drafted so it should be easy.
